How Skin Tightening Works.

 

Radio frequency, also known as RF is commonly used when treating the skin. RF waves are used to gently heat the skin, directly penetrating the skin dermis layer, which is the culprit for loose and sagging skin.

The RF shrinks existing collagen which has become loose and fibrous, it then stimulates the skin to create new fibroblasts aka new collagen. The new collagen fibres then remodel the skin  resulting with tighter and firmer skin, results last up to two years.

It is a radio frequency treatment which boosts collagen & elastin production to tighten any loose skin.

Radio frequency breaks down old fibrous collagen & elastin that has become loose or saggy. The body then naturally disposes of it through the lymphatic system.

Skin tightening treatments are between 15 – 40 minutes depending on the area being treated.

You may see a difference immediately, results improve the more skin tightening treatments you have.

We recommend around 4 – 6 treatments spaced 7 – 14 days apart. 

Results last around 2 years. A top up session is recommended to maintain results.
